Areas of specialization Mechanical dynamics
Control engineering
Human dynamics
Laboratory/research office Dynamic Design Laboratory
The Dynamic Design Laboratory focuses on dynamics of machines and human. We measure the motion of subject, analyze it based on the mechanical model, and develop control method to improve the defects. There are two targets in our research. First target is assessment of disease from subject’s motion and development of training method. Second target is development of smart vehicle considering passenger dynamics. Our strength is estimation technology of center of gravity from force sensors.
Current research topics Development of simplified measurement system of center of gravity during standing and its balance evaluation Evaluation of stability and efficiency in gait Development of mobility systems considering dynamic load on human body
